Windsor Square Historic Home and Garden Tour Announced
See Unique Homes and Gardens and Designer-Inspired Decorating Tips
From contemporary interiors to lush gardens to the latest in transitional styles, one of Central Phoenix's most sought-after historic neighborhoods opens its doors to the public in its Sixth Biennial Historic Home and Garden Tour.
Presented by the Windsor Square Neighborhood Association, the Home and Garden tour is a self-guided walking tour that will feature 12 historic homes and gardens in Phoenix's northernmost historic district.
A Variety of Homes
Windsor Square Home and Garden Tour gives enthusiasts a look at unique architectural styles in homes that date back more than 75 years. From modern to traditional, attendees will see firsthand interior decorating ideas and unique approaches to the outdoors.
This year's Home and Garden Tour features a special look at how people live in these historic homes. Each home will feature a room or garden area decorated by professional designers with a themed special event. Themes will range from a cocktail party to a birthday celebration to a garden party.
During the self-guided walking tour, participants will be also be able to explore fine arts and crafts from street vendors, enjoy delicious foods and hear live music.

Giving Back
Windsor Square will donate 20 percent of tour proceeds to the nonprofit Central Arizona Shelter Services (C.A.S.S). for Families and Children.
About Windsor Square Historic District
The 260-home Historic District, bordered by Central Avenue and Seventh Street, Pasadena Avenue and Oregon Avenue, was considered the first suburb of Phoenix. Started in 1929, the curvy development with charming homes was created during a time where the population of Phoenix was 70,000 people and the trolley line ended at Thomas Road.

Windsor Square Historic Home and Garden Tour is located at the Northeast corner of Central and Camelback, behind AJ's Fine Foods. Vehicles may enter the neighborhood off Central Avenue at Medlock Drive or off Camelback Road at 2nd or 6th streets.
